Introducing our new Events Committee and a full season of crafts, creativity, and games!
At this month’s board meeting, something exciting became official: our community now has a dedicated Events Committee. What started as a conversation about bringing people together has turned into a real, chartered group with a mission to build regular programming that’s fun, welcoming, and worth showing up for.
We hit the ground running — because we already have a full lineup to announce.
The Wednesday Craft Series
Every Wednesday from 11am-1pm is now dedicated to making things together! We’ve built a three-part series designed for every kind of crafter — from total beginners to folks who just need a table and some company.

Open Crafting Hours
Bring your own craft (BYOC) and settle in. Work on whatever you’re making — no agenda, no instruction, just good company and a dedicated space to create.
All sessions are open to everyone. Bring your enthusiasm, your WIP, and pull up a chair! Hot tea and coffee provided by BCC.
Mini Makers · Every 2nd Wednesday
A kid-friendly craft session designed for little hands and big imaginations. Each month features a fun, age-appropriate project kids ages 5 and up can complete and take home — no experience needed, just curiosity.

Craft of the Month · Every 4th Wednesday
Once a month we will spotlight a single craft — supplies are provided, skills are optional. Come learn, come teach, or just come see what everyone else is making!

Coming Soon: Game Night Thursday

We’re not stopping at crafts. Starting on June 11th from 7-9pm, Game Night Thursday is on its way — an easy-going gathering built around board games, cards, and whatever else people bring to the game table! Bring your own favorites or play from our growing collection. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase.
Potluck Tradition Continues
All of these upcoming, new events are in addition to our wonderful, regularly scheduled monthly potluck dinner gatherings! We will continue to host our potluck dinners on the Third Thursday of the month from April to October, with a featured guest speaker to inform and engage the community on relevant and interesting topics.
Our next potluck is on Thursday, June 18th, starting at 6:30pm. Musician Ennis Pruitt will be our guest speaker for the evening. BCC will provide chicken — please bring a side dish, salad, or dessert to share. Everyone is welcome!
See You This Season at BCC!
The Events Committee is just getting started, and we’d love to hear what kinds of programming matter most to you. If you have ideas, want to help run a session, or just want to say hello — reach out! This is a community effort, and the more people involved, the better it gets.
