In a restored historic schoolhouse, the Balsam Community Center carries forward a simple purpose: to be a place where neighbors come together.
Pantry
Established in response to Helene, the Balsam Community Pantry continues to provide food, toiletries, clothing and other basic items for our neighbors in need.
Rentals
The inside of the Balsam Community Center is available for special events, meetings and workshops through our online booking system.
Donations
Balsam Community Center is a 501c3 non-profit charity. We rely on your donations for general upkeep and special projects that preserve the historic schoolhouse building and to keep our pantry filled to continue to serve our neighbors in need.
